Welcome, and thank you for joining my fun and unique beauty blog. As a busy salon owner/operator, mom, and girlfriend, I fit in with 90% of women out there who just don’t have time for a daily leg shave, full face of makeup, flawless blow dry style, or in my case, a wedding. No matter what our individual daily challenges are, most of us wish we had more time for something, anything that makes us feel good about our exterior.

Reaching out to you from the beautiful hot and humid, hair destroying island of Cozumel, I’m going to share my beauty industry insider information with tips, tricks, and tutorials. Yes, you read that correctly; I am a mom…… blogging about cosmetic beauty from a tiny island in Mexico. What? Stranger things have happened. I’m actually former resident and fashion industry woman hailing from Minneapolis Minnesota, and trust me when I say I AM PLUGGED IN. Old habits die hard, and of course I’ve resorted to shopping at places that will remain unnamed (although I call it expanding on my creativity, which is pretty much “how am I going to make this cheap Sh%! look expensive??”), and my daily beauty routine has been reduced to removing baby’s various bodily fluids from my shirt, pants, shoes, and hair; there is ALWAYS time in my day for beauty. Once I step through my salon doors, the Dior lipstick and wedged heels are back on. I’m a wealth of beauty trickery and I’m always up for a new find.

Everything here will be reader/viewer friendly so let’s make this fun, time appropriate, BEAUTIFUL, and maybe even slightly humorous. Hey, reach out and ask me those looming beauty questions that you’ve never been brave enough to ask the ambitious mascara and lipstick clad chick at Sephora, the gum chewing college student at Ulta (you know, the one with flawless skin and naturally plump lips??), or the less enthusiastic woman at the Nordstrom’s beauty counter who throws in extra gifs in lieu of shining customer service. If I don’t already have the answer to your question, I’ll consult my fellow industry comrades and get it answered!
